Andon Market: the AI shopkeeper did not always disclose it was an AI when hiring
Andon Labs says “Luna” (Claude Sonnet 4.6), the AI running its San Francisco store, admitted being an AI when asked directly during hiring but did not always lead with it, and deliberately left it out of the job listing on the grounds that it would confuse candidates and deter good applicants.

It happened during hiring around the April 1, 2026 opening. Andon believes AIs should disclose that they are AI when hiring people; no security boundary was crossed.
